- BIM was utilised to support the execution of the project
- Generation of COBie and Asset Management Schedules were also utilised
Sustainability Environment, Social and Governances
- BEC are committed to implemented sustainable techniques in relation to supporting Energy Transition, Minimizing Environmental Impacts, Growing societal values and ensuring safer operations in its design and execution strategies
- During Technical Studies execution, BEC ensure to implement these principles, examples include the following:
- Preventing uncontrolled release of emissions to the atmosphere by ensuring control measures are in place
- Re-use of by-products from the process or activity
- Use of alternative energy techniques
- Localisation of material sourcing
- Re-use of existing equipment planned for demolition
- Water Management / Resource Management
- Safe practices with procedures and guidance managed
- Appropriate actions are suggested and agreed by the forum for closeouts
- Recently launched Aramco Sustainability Report for 2021 sets out clear principles which BEC will implement in all projects and design.
